The girls rock band Draft King made an appearance at the large scale anime convention “Otakon 2015” taking place in Baltimore in the state of Maryland (July 24 ~July 26). It was their first overseas live, they made 2,000 people go crazy on an approximately 70 minute stage.

The same convention is a large event where anime fans and cosplayers gather. Performing on the 24th which was the first day, Draft King put together a set list interwoven with anime cover songs, they started with L’Arc~en~Ciel’s “READY STEADY GO” which was the opening theme for “Fullmetal Alchemist”.

They played SIAM SHADE’s “1/3 Pure Hearted Feeling” which was the ending theme for Rurouni Kenshin as well as their 3rd single “This is me.” which went on sale on the 22nd just before they departed to America. During their live staple song “Abracadabra” many spectators spun their towels, causing great excitement.

After that a line formed for their autograph session and they were able to sell out their CDs and goods.

Having found a positive response in their first time overseas, Draft King will begin their countrywide tour to commemorate the sale of their new song starting on August 8th.
