元気な四人組！MIXBOXです。
今年、初めてアセローラ祭りに出演していだけることになりました～
★MIXBOX(ﾐｯｸｽﾎﾞｯｸｽ)は、
Vo&Gtの原国愛海(ｱｲﾐ)高校2年生
Grの新城早紀(ｻｷ)高校3年生
Drの山入端志帆(ｼﾎ)高校2年生
Bsの北島乃花(ﾉﾊﾅ)高校3年生のオンナのコバンド!
★MIXBOX(ﾐｯｸｽﾎﾞｯｸｽ)とは、4人の曲や歌や気持ち思いを1つの箱に詰めてみんなに届いてほしいというのから名付けたそうです。
★その名前には彼女たちの放つ光(音楽)が、聴いてくれる人たちへ夢や希望を与えられるようなバンドになりたいという気持ちも込められています。
★彼女たちは「ロックの日」の過ぎた6月9日(土)に開催された第9回コザ音楽祭本選(沖縄県ロック協会主催)で見事、沖縄市長賞を受賞されました！
残念ながら金賞には届きませんでしたが、これから更に活躍していくこと間違いなし！のMIXBOXさんです。
実は県ロック協会会長の宮永栄一さんは去年の「第16弾アセローラ祭り」に出演していただきました。

I'm gonna add some context to this post. Basically, one day, I came across this article while searching for MIXBOX information. Out of everything I found, this was the only thing that had a set list from MIXBOX's performance. I was able to tell because "Baby" is listed. I did some investigating to see if the other songs were possibly other MIXBOX songs we didn't know about, but it seems that they are all covers. Anyways, I gave a very brief background for each song and provided videos so you can listen to the original song.



what I like about you

The song "What I Like About You" is by the American band The Romantics, released in 1980. Since then the song has been covered by many bands. The most notable of these covers is the one by Lillix, who covered it in 2002 for the Disney movie Freaky Friday, since they were originally an all-girl rock band.

This song "Rirura Riruha" is by the Japanese singer KAELA KIMURA, released in 2005. It peaked at number three on the Oricon Charts and is Kimura's highest charting single to date.

夕日

"Yu-hi" by GRAMBROOS. Couldn't find much either, but the release of the song fits the timeline. Set list wise, it seems to make sense to put a slower song just before the ending.

Hop Step jump

I found two possible songs called "Hop Step Jump." One is an anime opening, which sounds really pop like, and the other is a song by the Japanese singer Jyongri. I'm leaning towards the song by Jyongri, but the other song is more popular and it came out in 2007...
