Full Name: Kitajima Nohana (北島 乃花) Hometown: Shimabara, Nagasaki Birthday: September 16, 1989 Height: 158 cm Nohana was the bassist for Stereopony. Early Career Nohana Kitajima (北島乃花, Kitajima Nohana; born on 16 September 1989), stylized as NOHANA, is originally from Shimbara, in Nagasaki Prefecture, Japan. She moved away from her family when she was in high school to Okinawa in order to pursue a career in music. She first met Aimi Haraguni at Hikaru Nakasone's Ajisai Studio in Okinawa. Together with Aimi Haraguni, Shiho Yamanoha, and Saki Shinjou, they formed MIXBOX, a band that covered Avril Lavigne songs and played some original songs such as "Baby". The band later changed its name to Stereopony after being signed to gr8! records to avoid conflict with another band with the same name, making their official debut in November of 2008. Music Career Unlike her band mates, Nohana always wanted to be a musician and be on TV and be famous. She decided to learn how to play the bass because it has such few strings. Her favorite song to perform live is "Viva La Viva La." Although she does the least amount of vocals, she would like to do lead vocals if given the chance. She would like to perform at Budokan, all over America, and outer space. Song Writing Nohana says she writes lyrics for the fans and her appreciation of them. Out of all the songs in Stereopony's discography, Nohana has written the lyrics for "Dreamin'," "happy 'A'," "Mousou Jet," and "Viva La Viva La." Influences Nohana lists fellow Okinawan Namie Amuro as her main musical influence.

Re: [MEMBER] NOHANA So I went on Tumblr and came across this: http://sukyandaru.tumblr.com/post/43302 ... e-p-bass-r Thoughts?
Re: [MEMBER] NOHANA That one's quite rare. I think the first released batch was of 100 axes worldwide. For Tomo and Nohana to end up with the same model is quite cool. Not to mention that those are active pickups on a bass. Not a lot of bassists use active pickups and those who do rarely plays anything else but metal or heavier music in general. The bass does have its very one character and tone though, which is very much appreciated and looks sick! I think it was cool of Fender to build a bass with active pickups and gold pickguard since they don't usually do stuff like that, especially not with the active electronics in a bass. Active pickup bass win!
Re: [MEMBER] nohana She just got an awesome new bass: https://twitter.com/stepo_nohana/status/304474624987631617 I really love that blue color. Plus the pearloid pickguard reminds me of Tomomi's signature Jazz Bass. Interesting to see that after Tomo bought a bass that's almost identical to Nohana's signature Precision Bass.
Re: [MEMBER] nohana Wow, so she really did switch... And yeah, I saw Tomomi's new bass through a Tumblr post and I was surprised as well. Also, this further proves that blue is NOHANA's favorite color haha.
