Doesn't seem like it. Nothing reported by YUI-Lover about a new single yet. http://www.yui-lover.com/
She seems to be performing a number of new songs but no word on an actual release, just a lot of live performances for now
[NEWS] yui stricken by panic disorder...hospitalized after mixing medication and alcohol! <a class="postlink" href="http://forum.yui-lover.com/topic/6736994/1/" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;">http://forum.yui-lover.com/topic/6736994/1/</a>
it seems most of musicians make same mistake... jimi hendrix died when he mixed medication and alcohol. so we can say being a musician is really hard.
Anyone can put themselves in the hospital from washing meds, including over the counter stuff, with alcohol. Not just musicians. Fortunately, yui has a mother and boyfriend that caught the problem and got her hospitalized. I would hope she's learned her lesson, and won't do it again. The majority of us will never come close to understanding how "hard" being a professional musician is. At Sakuracon, someone wanted to high-five Shiho and she wanted none of it. Whether she was just tired, hung over, or starting to get burnt out from essentially on a working vacation, we'll never know. The point I'm trying to make is that everyone makes an error in judgement from time to time; it only becomes a mistake if you don't learn from it and don't do anything to correct it. If yui does have some kind of panic disorder, as long as she takes her medicine and tries to identify the root of her problem, she'll be fine, at least I think so.
In other news... YUI announces marriage and pregnancy (to those who haven't seen it in Chat yet). http://www.yui-lover.com/yui-announces-marriage-and-pregnancy/
I'm actually surprised, I figured once she had her children she wouldn't return to music. But based on what I've seen it seems she's getting ready for a live with Flower Flower. I really don't think she'll make a return to singing as "YUI" especially as her children get older.
