New Very Good Days Staff Members

Hey guys,

Wow, it's been a while since I actually made an actual forum update post. Anyways, this past summer several members joined Very Good Days Staff and I would like to recognize them now. Also, a few existing members of staff have new roles, which I would also like to announce to all of you.

Our newest addition to our Translators team is crimsonknight4, who has already been actively working with us for the past three months now. Many of you should already know who he is and what he has done for the community so far. CK managed to single-handedly translate about 95% of the Draft King Nohana Blog into English and is currently helping us stay up to date each day. In addition to that, he has been working on Stereopony song translations and translating various Draft King related sources. It is actually thanks to him that Very Good Days was able to recover quickly this summer and get content flowing to our website again.

jona DJ is another member who has stepped up to help contribute to the community. It might not be known to all of you but jona DJ has mainly been doing behind the scenes work. She posts new Draft King Nohana Blog entries to the forum and preps them for the Translators, and she works on the @STEREOPONY_US Twitter archive when she can. She has been a major help in helping us stay up to date with Nohana's daily blog entries and slowly completing our Twitter archive.

wannasalad is one of our newest members, who expressed interest in helping contribute to Very Good Days Features content. A few chats between her and I resulted in the creation of the OverView and LookBack features. She is currently the writer for "OverView: Stereopony Music" while Destonus is the writer for "LookBack: Stereopony Music." In addition to her role as a contributor to the Very Good Days Features, she is also the newest administrator for the Very Good Days Tumblr, which has spiked in activity this summer. Between all of that she contributes to the Twitter Archives and VGD Gallery Project as well.

Longtime member and Global Moderator XwingsofaresX has returned to glory with a new role as an Editor in Chief of the Very Good Days website. Although he is still technically on semi-hiatus, Wings will be in charge of making sure the quality of all our Very Good Days Features are on point before they are scheduled to be published.

LLQ is our newest staff member, who will be in charge of maintaining the Stereopony Videos and Draft King Videos forums. With so many videos to keep track of, LLQ will be making sure that members will have an easy time finding videos and will be fixing any broken links that are reported.

As mentioned earlier, Destonus is the writer for "LookBack: Stereopony Music" — but that's not all. Destonus has been given the role of making sure all music information is up to date. This includes information for AIMI, Draft King, and Stereopony.

Cake's a lie has been given two roles. He is one of the VGD Facebook page content creators and has his own Very Good Days Feature: Weekly OreCap (which hasn't been too much of a success so far). Participation is expected to increase in future weeks.

Exaita has his own Very Good Days Feature too now, which is also connected with our social media. Exaita is the content creator for the VGD Feature "Throwback Flashback."

nikid will be taking a more active role as the community's leader. All community projects and other members related announcements will now be promoted by her. VGD Staff will still be working on projects together as a team but it will be nikid who will be responsible for getting as many members to participate as possible by any means to get the word out.

Finally, dereko92 has been given a new role that properly describes his overall contributions. He is now one of the Staff Operations Directors (along with me), whose main priorities are maintaining the archive forums and the VGD Gallery. As always, he still does many behind the scenes tasks that very few people know about with the most recent of his contributions being the finished video message for AIMI's birthday.
